- Former Primer minister Benazir Bhutto survives suicide attack which happened within hours of her arrival to Pakistan after a self imposed exile of eight years. According to the reports atleast 126 people are killed in this attack in Karachi, Pakistan. No one has taken the responsibility at this point but it is either done by extremist in Pakistan or it could have been the job of Pakistan Intelligence Security. President of Pakistan General Parverez Musharaff advised Mrs. Bhutto to delay her visit to Pakistan due to inclined militiant activities.

- New Attorney General Mukasey has been appointed by President Bush today.

- In today's conference, President George W. Bush pointed his rage towards Congress which has a majority of Democrats and asked them to finish the unfinished jobs by end of this year. During the press conference Mr. President even mention to take necessary steps to avoid "Third World War" due to proliferation of nuclear weapons by Iran.

- Prime Minister of India Mr. Manmohan Singh "asserted that the process to evolve a consensus on the India-US nuclear deal among UPA partners had not been called off."

- Finally India Beat Australia by two wickets in 7th ODI (Final game), Murali Karthik (Spin Bowler) made his best record in bowling 6/33 (i.e. six wickets by giving 33 runs) and indeed helped Indian team to attain the win over Australia even by being a responsible batsman managing to establish 50 runs partnership with Zaheer khan for 9th wicket (Australia has already won the series by wining four matches out of seven, one match was draw because of rain).
